Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken rotisserie chicken works great
  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup hot sauce such as Frank’s RedHot
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing or blue cheese dressing for extra tang
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions optional, for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, hot sauce, and ranch dressing. Mix until smooth and well combined.
  • Stir in the shredded chicken, 1/2 cup of cheddar cheese, and 1/4 cup of mozzarella cheese. Mix until evenly distributed.
  • Spread the mixture into a 9x9-inch baking dish or oven-safe skillet. Sprinkle the remaining cheddar and mozzarella cheese on top.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until the dip is bubbly and the cheese is melted and slightly golden.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Garnish with chopped green onions if desired.
  • Serve warm with tortilla chips, celery sticks, or crusty bread for dipping.

Notes

For extra heat, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or diced jalapeños to the dip mixture.
This dip can also be prepared in a slow cooker. Combine all ingredients, cook on low for 2-3 hours, and stir occasionally.
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the microwave or oven before serving.
