Ingredients
  

For the Chicken:

  • 2 large chicken breasts halved lengthwise (or 4 small chicken breasts)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

For the Sauce:

  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes optional
  • Fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

Prepare the Chicken:

  • Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Cook chicken for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

Make the Sauce:

  • In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring to combine.
  • Add Italian seasoning, Parmesan cheese, and red pepper flakes. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until thickened.

Combine and Serve:

  • Return chicken to the skillet, spoon sauce over the top, and simmer for another 2-3 minutes.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.

Notes

Serve with pasta, mashed potatoes, or roasted vegetables.
For a lighter version, use half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
