In a mixing bowl, combine yogurt, lemon juice, garam masala, cumin, coriander, paprika, turmeric, and salt. Add chicken and marinate for at least 1 hour (or overnight).
Preheat the oven to broil. Place marinated chicken on a baking tray and broil for 10-12 min until cooked through and slightly charred. Set aside.
In a skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 5 min.
Stir in garlic and ginger, cooking for another minute until fragrant.
Add diced tomatoes to the skillet and simmer for 10 min, allowing the flavors to meld.
Stir in the heavy cream and add the broiled chicken. Simmer for another 5-10 min until heated through.
Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
Notes
Serve with basmati rice or naan for a complete meal.
Adjust spice levels by adding more or less paprika or chili powder.
