Ingredients:
- 2 tbsp strong espresso or concentrated coffee
- 2 tbsp caramel syrup
- 1 pinch flaky sea salt
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 tbsp caramel sauce
Instructions:
- Drizzle 2 tbsp of caramel syrup into the bottom of a mug.
- Brew the espresso directly into the syrup and stir until the coffee and syrup are fully integrated and glossy.
- Stir in a pinch of flaky sea salt to cut the sugar's edge and enhance the coffee notes.
- Heat the whole milk in a saucepan or microwave until it reaches approximately 150°F (65°C).
- Use a handheld frother at a slight angle just below the milk surface to create a thick layer of velvety micro-foam.
- Slowly pour the heated milk into the center of the coffee base, holding back the foam with a spoon until the mug is nearly full.
- Gently dollop the remaining foam on top and drizzle caramel sauce in a spiral pattern over the foam.
