Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp strong espresso or concentrated coffee
  • 2 tbsp caramel syrup
  • 1 pinch flaky sea salt
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 tbsp caramel sauce

Instructions:

  1. Drizzle 2 tbsp of caramel syrup into the bottom of a mug.
  2. Brew the espresso directly into the syrup and stir until the coffee and syrup are fully integrated and glossy.
  3. Stir in a pinch of flaky sea salt to cut the sugar's edge and enhance the coffee notes.
  4. Heat the whole milk in a saucepan or microwave until it reaches approximately 150°F (65°C).
  5. Use a handheld frother at a slight angle just below the milk surface to create a thick layer of velvety micro-foam.
  6. Slowly pour the heated milk into the center of the coffee base, holding back the foam with a spoon until the mug is nearly full.
  7. Gently dollop the remaining foam on top and drizzle caramel sauce in a spiral pattern over the foam.
