Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup (50g) light brown sugar
- 1/4 cup (60ml) water
- 1 tsp (2g) ground cinnamon
- 1 pinch (0.5g) sea salt
- 2 shots (60ml) espresso
- 1 cup (240ml) whole milk
Instructions:
- Combine the light brown sugar, water, cinnamon, and salt in a small saucepan over medium heat.
- Stir constantly until the sugar completely dissolves and the mixture reaches a gentle simmer.
- Reduce heat to low and simmer for 2–3 minutes until the liquid thickens slightly and smells toasted; remove from heat.
- Brew 2 shots of espresso or 1/2 cup of strong coffee and pour into a mug.
- Stir 1–2 tablespoons of the prepared brown sugar cinnamon syrup into the hot coffee until fully integrated.
- Heat the whole milk in a saucepan or microwave until steaming but not boiling.
- Use a handheld frother to aerate the milk for approximately 30 seconds until a thick, silky foam forms.
- Slowly pour the frothed milk over the sweetened coffee, dollop the remaining foam on top, and garnish with a dusting of cinnamon.
